Windows 11 Upgrade

The Division of Student Life and Enrollment is preparing to decommission the Student Affairs (SA) Domain (sa.uconn.edu) and migrate to the UConn Domain (uconn.edu).

Migrating workstations to the UConn Domain will progress desktop management services toward a more unified computing environment and provide security enhancements that are in alignment with University policies.

Later, this calendar year, SA workstations on our current desktop management platform will be transitioned to the ITS-managed service: Microsoft InTune. In preparation for this transition, all workstations must be on Windows 11 and up to date.

Communications about transitioning to InTune will be shared later this fall.
