Microsoft Intune Migration
The Division of Student Life and Enrollment is preparing to decommission the Student Affairs (SA) Domain (sa.uconn.edu) and migrate workstations to the UConn Domain (uconn.edu).
Migrating workstations to the UConn Domain will progress desktop management services toward a more unified computing environment and provide security enhancements that are in alignment with University policies.
In preparation for this transition, IT-SLE facilitated the upgrade of all Division workstations to Windows 11 during October of 2024.
Starting in November 2024, IT-SLE will begin scheduling departments for their migrations to the Microsoft Intune platform. With this migration, workstations will no longer be joined to the old “Student Affairs” Domain (sa.uconn.edu) and will be transitioned to the UConn Domain (uconn.edu).
