I’m pleased to share that IT Student Life & Enrollment (IT-SLE) is launching a new Project Management Oversight service to support large-scale initiatives across the Division of Student Life and Enrollment.
This service is designed to provide strategic oversight for departmental projects, whether IT-related or not, ensuring alignment with divisional goals, tracking progress, and offering guidance to project managers.
While IT-SLE will not manage day-to-day operations, we will assist with:
- High-level risk identification and mitigation
- Monitoring key milestones, timelines, and KPIs
- Supporting escalated decisions and project planning
- Providing project management tools, templates, and best practices
This structure aims to enhance consistency, transparency, and collaboration across departments, while empowering teams to execute their projects effectively. It builds on our shared commitment to operational excellence and strategic alignment.
How to Get Started
If your department has an upcoming initiative that could benefit from project oversight, here’s how to engage with the service:
- Submit a Project Overview: Visit the IT-SLE website Project Management Requests page and fill out our request form
- Initial Consultation: We’ll schedule a short meeting to understand your needs and determine the appropriate level of oversight
- Onboarding & Support: Once aligned, we’ll provide access to templates, planning tools, and a designated point of contact for ongoing support
We encourage departments to reach out early in the planning process to ensure smooth integration and timely support.
